Cadette, Senior and Ambassador girls will have the opportunity to work on their Leadership in Action, Program Aide and Counselor in Training awards at every session of Day Camp or Sleep Away Camp. There are many opportunities to help you along your path whether you are just getting started as a PA or have been mentoring younger girls for many years. These opportunities will keep you challenged and growing until you are 18 and out of high school and are ready to work at camp and/or volunteer as a group leader!
These sessions have pre-requisites so please read the details carefully. If you register for a session and you don’t meet the requirements by the time of the session we reserve the right to remove you from that session. There is a $50.00 fee for those who would like to turn their Day Camp PA or CIT experience into a Sleep Away Camp option. Day Camp Teen Mentoring Programs will run from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. Sleep Away Sessions will run from 3:00pm on Sundays to 4:00pm on Fridays.
Teens who earn mentoring awards are given a special opportunity to serve as champions for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. As they serve in their roles, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors can help grow awareness of Girl Scouting’s aim to deliver fun with purpose: enjoyable and challenging activities that grow girls’ leadership in their daily lives and in the world.

This is the capstone course to the Program Aide journey, you will spend your time helping out not only with the girls in the unit, but you will get the chance to mentor and help other Program Aides in their Program Aide progress.

First time ever being a CIT? Then this program is for you! You will spend time working with the counselors at camp to develop your counselor skills. Do fun camp activities, develop programs for the girls to enjoy and spend time with them in the unit! You will also complete your CIT training during the session.
