Girl Scouts exist for girls, but it exists because of volunteers. By giving your time and talent, you can make it possible for girls to build character and skills for success in the real world. No matter what your interests, age, or amount of time you can offer, Girl Scouts needs your help.

Ready to get started as a Girl Scout of Northern Indiana Michiana volunteer? We have many ways for you to participate, including:

Volunteer Process

To become a volunteer complete the volunteer form, and you will then be directed to complete the following steps:

1. Select a Role

If you’re not sure which opportunity to choose, select “Other”, and we’ll help you find the right one for you.

2. Background Check

Because you'll be working directly with youth, this step is required.  This will take a few days to process.

3. Become a Member

You will provide us with some more detailed information about you and pay the national membership dues of $15.  Dues support the national Girl Scouts organization, covers you under our liability insurance, and supports the research and program development our local council relies upon.
